Hainsley Brown

Portrait Photographer.

Hainsley's porttrait photography was very impressive. Not just because of the quality of his work and the people he has photographed, but also the way he got himself into the position where he could photograph those kinds of people.
His explanation of how he got from not working for a year after the Royal College, to snapping people like Vince Vaughn, Will Ferrel, Will Young, Ian Brown, to name a few, was very inspiring.
His insight into the world of freelance photography showed just how it should be done, or at least showed a very successful way of doing it. His work is the kind one of the things that I see myself doing in a few years time, and I certainly aspire to be somewhere near where he is right now.
Studio shoots and shoots on sight are senario's that I want to work in more and more.
